Just what the heck is Timton even all about? Cont. Mayor Jukes, April 20XX
Okay, Here we go. Sorry about the link hoping. Anyway, Doug, I hope you're still with me. What is Timton all about? Well, like so many (or possibly all other) communities, Timton is all about it's people. Now what does this vague statement of seemingly compassionate nature mean? Heck, it's not like the buildings or even certain ducks in our various natural water formations are running this city... not that I'm aware of anyway... certain ducks can be as ambitious as they are cleaver. Anyway, basically, the people of Timton are pretty progressive and eager. A real bunch of busy beavers who just can't seem to get enough of that woody flavor of opportunity. Now, I'm all for each beaver getting their share and building their dam dreams (haha. I hope you enjoyed that edgy pun.) but at the same time trying to keep enough timber in the forest for tomorrow's beavers. I hope that makes sense.
The way I see Timton's growth is there is plenty to go around for everyone and programs set up to make sure everyone gets a shot; from folks who just want to work a gig to the folks who want to run the gig. Timton's overall philosophy is that living in 20XX should not be blood-soaked battle for supremacy. I mean, we aren't really in a state of tribal warfare caught in a battle for resources and expansion. We grow as needed while managing our resources as responsibly as possible. When things are good we like to share and celebrate with each other while throwing a rope to help those in need when things are not so good. There is a lot of peer review around here so it's encouraged to be a decent human being. Man, I think that's a pretty good summery of what Timton is all about, considering the reality of the complexity of all of the moving parts that make up the mind-breaking, byzantine, spaghetti mountain, that is an urban metropolis.
